You can’t get there from here.
So, I’m going to a retreat for work tomorrow. It’s at a board member’s house on Little Sebago Lake. Should be nice, though I hate going anywhere west in Maine due to the lack of an east-west highway in the state.
I mapped out the route from Brunswick. Here’s what it looks like:
It’s true what they say here in Maine. You just can’t get there from here.
Ugh.
I looks like how greyhound buses travel. It took my 12 hours to go home from college. I only like 3 hours away by car though.
Hello Jen;
Wouldn’t it work better to try going north to Route 196 (I think) and then over to 100 and down?
I will look at my Maine atlas and verify this. The east-west thing has been forever but the updates to 196 were part of the fix I think.
There were a number of routes suggested, but I ended up going via Pineland. At least it was a pretty drive this time of year!
Good choice, nice country and the roads are not bad!!
