You can’t get there from here.

So, I’m going to a retreat for work tomorrow. It’s at a board member’s house on Little Sebago Lake. Should be nice, though I hate going anywhere west in Maine due to the lack of an east-west highway in the state.

I mapped out the route from Brunswick. Here’s what it looks like:

It’s true what they say here in Maine. You just can’t get there from here.

Ugh.

  1. I looks like how greyhound buses travel. It took my 12 hours to go home from college. I only like 3 hours away by car though.

    Hello Jen;
    Wouldn’t it work better to try going north to Route 196 (I think) and then over to 100 and down?
    I will look at my Maine atlas and verify this. The east-west thing has been forever but the updates to 196 were part of the fix I think.

  2. There were a number of routes suggested, but I ended up going via Pineland. At least it was a pretty drive this time of year!
